Jared Tarbell
Advisory Board Member

Jared Tarbell is originally from the high deserts of Albuquerque, New Mexico. First introduced to personal computers in 1987, Jared's interest in computer graphics and gaming has grown in direct relation to the processing power of these machines. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from New Mexico State University, Jared was brought to Austin to begin immediate work on large scale utility management software. He quickly realized that he did not enjoy programming for the interests of the corporate good and left to work privately on more personal projects. Jared is most interested in the visualization of large data sets, and the emergent, life-like properties of complex computational systems. Jared is currently living in New Mexico, programming as a hired gun and co-writing books on recreational computer graphics programming.
