Bob Sawey

Growing up in a low income household, Bob Sawey began to sense music with pots and pans, creating an outlet to a variety of "instruments" he would later find himself participating in. Organ, trumpet, phone equipment, digital technology and anything that would create a vibration was his voice. Artists like Danny Elfman and Laurie Spiegel have been some of his stronger influences overall. He has been known to use whatever he could get his hands on to write music. If any theme is to be extracted from this performance, it is that between the different sorts of machinery used to compose digital art, a layer of abstraction can be formed to promote a symbiotic relationship with the piece.
