ArjanM

 ArjanM creates a style of music that ranges from the singer-songwriter genre to electronic music with a subtle but ever-present undertone of metal music. Metal was ArjanM's first love, but soon after electronic music and triphop also started to take his interest. From 1994-2002 ArjanM was lead guitarist in the indie rock/metal band Dissent together with Jeroen Kok on base, Bas van Ruitenbeek on drums and Erwin Roodselaar as vocalist/lyricist.
At the end of the nineties the progression in computer generated music gave easy access to ArjanM to start experimenting with the creation of his own electronic music.
Dissent was put on stand-by in 2002 with all band members focusing on other projects; Jeroen now plays base in the Reggae/Punk/Rock band Jaya the Cat (www.jayathecat.com) and Bas plays the drums in the Metalcore band A New Hope (www.myspace.com/listentoanewhope). Erwin's subversive roots inspired the creation of a counterculture t-shirt brand Kounter-Fit (www.kounter-fit.com), but he still collaborates with ArjanM for the creation of lyrics.
Arjan started focussing on composing music on his computer which resulted in the album Little Curses recorded in 2007.
With a Masters Degree in computer graphics and animation at the School of Arts in Hilversum ArjanM had started his own company House of Secrets (www.houseofsecrets.nl) together with 2 fellow students back in 2004. The realization of ArjanM's dream to bring his passion for music and computer generated graphics together in a full fledged music video was therefore no mere coincidence.
