Since the 1999 breakup of ANTARCTICA, Glenn Maryansky has kept busy producing music and deejaying under the aliases 3.1.G. and BALLOONS. Performing around the east coast and in Germany with like-minded underground electronic artists such as Telefon Tel Aviv (Hefty), T.Raumschmiere (Kompakt/Shitkatapult), Zip (Perlon), Miss Dinky (Traum, Carpark), DJ Silver (Parallel, Liquid Sky), Jasper (Force Inc.) & Stanley Ipkiss (Parfum), he has become a staple of the NYC minimal techno/electro DJ scene at clubs such as Drinkland, Open Air and Swim. His background in punk & new wave reflects in his deejaying, electronically produced music and minimal Factory Records-esque design, with cold refraction and an understated energy.
