Keith Rowe (b. 1940) is an English free improvisation guitarist. He helped to found the groundbreaking ensemble AMM in the mid-1960s and is also a founding member of the more recent M.I.M.E.O. ensemble. Rowe has been called a "godfather of electroacoustic improvisation" and a "master of understatement." He has worked for half a lifetime to unsettle the boundaries between music and noise.

Rick Reed (b. 1957) is an entirely self-taught composer/visual artist who has been working in the Austin music underground for the past 25 years. Using old battered electronic devices like sine wave generators, short wave radios and a vintage EMS analogue synthesizer, Reed has performed solo and with various electronic/noise groups including Frequency Curtain, Abrasion Ensemble, FTC and many others.
